Orient Overseas Container Line will introduce a new China Indonesia Service (CIS3) on May 16, 2026, reported an OOCL press release. The service will strengthen intra-Asia coverage and improve connectivity between South China and Indonesia.
CIS3 will provide direct and reliable links between South China's export hubs and the Indonesian gateways of Jakarta and Surabaya, enabling faster transit times and enhanced schedule efficiency. The port rotation will be Xiamen, Nansha, Jakarta, Surabaya, Yantian and back to Xiamen. OOCL said the new service reflects its commitment to expanding regional connectivity and offering customers greater flexibility.
The carrier added that CIS3 complements its existing intra-Asia network, supporting trade growth between China and Indonesia
