FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has set new freight all kinds (FAK) rates - US$200 per TEU - on cargo from Asia to the Middle East Gulf starting August 15.
This applies to all Middle East Gulf ports and on dry, out of gauge, breakbulk and reefer cargo.
Also effective from August 15 will be $100 per container increase applied to the same cargo types from all Asian ports to Pakistan, India west and east coasts and Sri Lanka.
